Moko Farms | The start of it all
We moved to West Virginia two years ago to leave the big city life behind.. The longer that we are here the more we have move toward to the desire to be as productive and self sufficient as possible.. With the caveat that it should not impact our quality of life and we are not hippies.. We have made changes to our lifestyle and started to take things into our hands to make a difference in our own lives.. I hope that what we share here can make help you in some way..

Moko Farms | What we have done so far
There are so many projects that we have undertaken in the last two years.. We will be covering them in this blog with details and links the the sites that inspired them. All of these projects are works in progress and hopefully will provide us with great benefits to our lives.. Beside the renovation of the house the biggest project is the addition of a simple chicken coup.. Coming this week we will be getting the chickens that we hope will eventually replace our purchase of eggs.. More about that later.. Other projects include compost bins, worm farming and rain water harvesting..
